The Saheli Foundation sponsored a $500 scholarship for an aspiring artist, facing challenging circumstances, at the Close Look United Foundation’s Youth Talent Show. This scholarship was awarded to Janette Bundic, a young artist who has over come anxiety and is planning to attend Emily Carr. The smile on her face says it all.
“I would like to go to Emily Carr University and study Visual Arts. My end goal is to have my work displayed in museums and sell paintings as well. The five hundred dollar scholarship will help me purchase art supplies and help with my end goal.
